Research network in Peripartum Depression Disorder
RiseupPPD was founded in 2019 aiming at filling gaps in Peripartum Depression Disorder research, practice and at increasing social awareness. The Action was funded through the COST Programme from 2019-2023.
Our mission was to review cutting-edge research on standardised diagnostic criteria, screening tools, and efficacy and cost-effectiveness of prevention and treatment programs.

Maternal Perinatal Stress and Adverse Outcomes in the Offspring: Maximising infants´development (TREASURE)
The TREASURE project aims to establish an international multidisciplinary network to:
Research and disseminate evidence on reducing maternal perinatal stress and its impact on fetal development.
Promote knowledge exchange between disciplines and countries.
Translate scientific findings into clinical guidelines to improve child health and reduce costs associated with maternal perinatal stress.

Perinatal Mental Health: Perinatal IBIS-Lab
In the Perinatal Mental Health research group (Perinatal-IBIS Lab), we conduct pioneering clinical research to support the mental health of women and their partners during the perinatal period, and to promote child development. The scope of the research is broad, including pregnancy planning, fertility treatments, breastfeeding, grief, violence against women, and reproductive health.

The general objective of the Research Network on Chronicity, Primary Care and Health Promotion (RICAPPS) is to promote network-based research oriented towards health outcomes in primary care, chronicity, and health promotion, with the aim of transferring results to clinical practice and health service organizations, thus ensuring improved healthcare for the population. This goal aligns with the objectives of the Health, Demographic Change and Wellbeing Challenge of the Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation, and the European Union's Horizon Europe framework.
